SERVICE AREA
We primarily serve Clients within 30 miles of Tyler. Texas
HIRING US
A signed contract is required prior to the start of any organizing project. All monies are pre-paid at the Consultation before Schedules are set and Services commence.
Schedules are set by mutual agreement.
PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY
Given the sensitive nature of the work we do and the high level of trust it requires our Clients to place in us, Clients can be assured of absolute privacy when working with us.
We strictly adhere to the National Association of Professional Organizers Code of Ethics which emphasizes confidentiality, honesty, and integrity.
For safety, information is given to other staff members (names, address, phone numbers. scheduling times, contact information (etc.), and may share information with other staff members and /or the Green Apple Organizing Owner and other Service providers serving the project.
*All Client information will be kept strictly confidential, except where disclosure is required by law.
BILLING RATE
Our rates are highly competitive. Services are charged based on the applicable hourly rate for pay- as -you go and packages are billed at discounted hourly rates.

Tip: Completing any “homework” you might be asked to do between organizing sessions will save you money.
TRAVEL TIME
The first 60 minutes (round trip) of travel is complimentary (from Tyler Texas). After that, travel is billed at $0.56/mile.
Travel fees may be waived at our sole discretion.
METHODS & TERMS OF PAYMENT
We accept payment by cash, check, – paid directly to the Organizer on site, and Zelle
Checks should be made payable to Karen Roberts
There will be a charge of $35 for any check returned for insufficient funds or any bank draft item that is not payable for any reason, as well as additional collection and/or legal fees to compensate for overdraft charges and unpaid account balances.
Payment in full is due at the Consultation. Receipts and invoices are emailed the day the work is performed.
The agreed rate is determined at consultation and written in the contract. This rate expires at the time regular scheduled appointments cease.
SUPPLIES
Green Apple Organizing will determine if product and/or supplies are needed to complete the project and will make suggestions about necessary supplies to be purchased.
If requested and agreed up by Client, Green Apple Organizing will suggest a starting product budget. and will suggest that Client give permission to Green Apple Organizing to use Client credit card to purchase product for agreed upon products and supplies.
Clients may also authorize purchases in the form of cash, check, Venmo, PayPal or any other agreed upon payment method to purchase product and supplies.
Green Apple Organizing will shop for (either online or in store) and purchase the supplies, making certain they are delivered to the Client’s location.
Clients are responsible for all agreed-upon supplies (file folders, shelving, containers, hooks, etc.) necessary for completion of the project.
Receipts for funds spent on Client’s behalf will be presented with an invoice.
Green Apple Organizing does not charge Clients for labels. Customized labels are complementary to our Clients.
SHOPPING
As a Service to our Clients, Green Apple Organizing does not charge Clients a shopping fee or rate.
We do not upcharge nor make a profit on any products we purchase for you.
Standard, hourly rates for shopping and returns are complimentary and are included in all of Green Apple Organizing pay-as-you—go, discounted packages and gift certificates, whether online or in store.
ADDITIONAL EXPENSES
Green Apple Organizing may (depending on the project) suggest or arrange appointments with other Service providers to complete your project. (Handymen, Closet Installers, Haulers, Movers, etc.).
If agreed upon by Client, Client is responsible for arranging and paying the rates, fees, etc. of all providers arranged for outside of Green Apple Organizing and Client is required to have a separate contract between Client and other providers.
MINIMUM HOURS PER APPOINTMENT
There is a 4-hour minimum per appointment for regular organizing services. For Custom Services there is a 6- hr minimum per appointment. In our experience, organizing sessions of shorter duration too often do not produce optimal results.
CANCELLATIONS
Your time is very important to us and we know you feel the same.
When a Client books an appointment with us, that time slot is reserved exclusively for them and becomes unavailable for anyone else to use.
If, for some reason other than a true emergency or serious illness, a Client needs to cancel or change an appointment, please kindly provide at least 48 hours advance notice so that others may take advantage of the unused time. We will reschedule the appointment but cannot guarantee Clients normal day or time slot. (See more policies below)
CONTROL & ACCESS TO JOB SITE
Clients acknowledge control of the job site(s) and agree to provide us access to the job site(s) for the term of the work.
Green Apple Organizing will confirm by phone or email the evening before the appointment.
Staff can travel up to an hour to the job site and it is very important that we be able to have access to the home. If Client is not present for appointment, arrangements need to be made in advance for access.
If the event arises that a team member or other Service providers arrives to a scheduled appointment and either can’t get access inside the home (locked out), we will attempt to contact Client and either agree to wait or reschedule.
We agree to wait 15 minutes. If we have to wait longer and/or have to leave (Client doesn’t show or the Client turns them away at the door (cancelling), we will deduct 1 (one) hour from the Clients hours purchased.
PERFORMANCE & DELIVERY GUARANTEE
Clients are recommended to be present during the initial organizing sessions to assist with the editing process.
Any other adult age 18 years old and over whose space is being affected (i.e., family member) should be present for the initial consultation.
It is very important that Clients and Organizer focus on the session. Therefore, Clients must make arrangements for handling incoming phone calls, re-directing visitors, childcare, pets, etc. so that sessions are not interrupted.
Hands-on organizing sessions begin at the scheduled time, regardless if the Client is delayed.
We will not throw anything out without the Client’s permission.
We help the CLIENT make decisions, but the final decision is always the Client’s. Thus, the Client is responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the discarding or destroying of any records or personal effects.
The Client agrees to make final decisions about disposition of items.
NOTE: ITEMS FOR DISPOSAL
As an additional Service by Green Apple Organizing, we will, at the Client’s request, transport items for disposal to the appropriate locations.
Whether by donation, recycling, shredding or trash, should Green Apple Organizing take items, they may dispose of said items at their sole discretion.
Client may elect to dispose of items personally as well
NOTE: CLEANING:
Although cleaning is usually not included in organizing, getting organized is an ideal time to do any necessary home or office/place of business cleaning.
We are not a cleaning Service but we offer to our Clients a thorough cleaning of the area we are working on within reason.
This is not a deep cleaning and excludes move outs, or places that are hard to reach.
If needed Green Apple Organizing will suggest Client hire a cleaning Service.
We agree to implement the proposed solutions within a reasonable period of time, as discussed with the Client, and for the price agreed upon.
While we do our best to work expediently, we also take into consideration the Client’s emotional, physical, and mental needs.
We will adjust our speed of work for the best interest of the Client. I
f any provision of this contract is held unenforceable, then such provision will be modified to reflect the parties’ intention.
All remaining provision of this contract shall remain in full force and effect.
We strive to meet a 100% Client satisfaction level. We agree to t keep you updated on the progress of the project by taking before and after photos of each session and to contact you by phone or email after each session.
If any adjustment needs to be made Client agrees to notify us within 24 hours to arrange for any necessary adjustment.
Failure to contact us within 24 hours implies that the Client fully accepts the completed work.
Letters describing in detail what work or parts of the project were not completed or satisfactorily executed should be emailed to hello@greenappleorganizng.com.
If we have created a new system for you, your responsibility is to maintain it long enough for it to become a habit.
Typically, habit-forming takes 30 days.
If you faithfully use your new system for 30 days, and we have already adjusted it to better suit your needs and you are still not satisfied, we will schedule a complimentary session to make any necessary adjustments.
All hours purchased must be completed within 90 days and any adjustments must be agreed upon by both parties.
Green Apple Organizing does not offer refunds or returns.
ACTING AS YOUR AGENT
At a Client’s request, we will act as the Client’s agent with other Service providers (movers, carpenters, contractors, etc.).
Clients must contract directly with such Service providers.
We take no responsibility, and Clients agree to hold us harmless for the actions or performance of other Service providers.
REASONABLE CARE
We will use reasonable care in the performance of all of our duties.
Green Apple Organizing nor their employees or contractors, is not liable for any loss due to damage to property, self or disposition of items.
The Client retains full responsibility, unless gross negligence or intentional damage has been proven.
If applicable, Clients are responsible for furnishing a list of specific items they do not want to have us, or our agent, touch or move.
In fulfillment of our organizing Services, Clients agree to hold us harmless and give us, or our agent, full discretion in the removal and disposal of papers, files and/or other property belonging to the Client.
Clients agree to limit aggregate liability to amount of fees charged.
RESTRICTIONS
We reserve the right to withdraw from an organizing project at any time if the project involved perceived unsafe working conditions, Client or family members engage in disruptive, threatening or violent behavior, which can include but is not limited to yelling, verbal abuse, threats (outright or implied) or if Clients are in breach of their agreement with us (bounced checks, non-payment, etc.), or if we cannot render the Services requested by Clients through no fault of our own.
NOTE: FIREARMS
For your protection and ours, if you have firearms in the home, we ask that they be stored or locked away prior to our arrival.
Please do not leave any firearms under pillows/mattresses or beds as it can be dangerous when we’re working.in the home.
COMPENSATION TERMS
Clients agree to all compensation terms: payment in advance, cancellation fee, methods of payment we accept, late fees, bad check fees, and cost of collection.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
Clients acknowledge our intellectual property rights and agree not to violate them in any way.
PHOTOGRAPHS & TESTIMONIALS
Clients give us permission to use, without remuneration, testimonials they provide and before and after photos of their location, taken with their permission, in our marketing materials, which may include print and online advertising.
Clients will be identified by first name, last initial, location and job (i.e., Kathryn G., Aventura, – Office) or an alias, if preferred and requested.
We warrant that at no time will your testimonial, pictures or name be used to promote unlawful or morally objectionable activities including (but not limited to): sending unsolicited email; activities designed to defame, embarrass, harm or abuse third parties; or hate crime of any kind.
Your personal information will never be sold or distributed.
We also won’t take photos that include anything personal in the image including family photos, personal objects, etc.
WARRANTY & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
We are not responsible in any way whatsoever for any loss, damages – whether actual, consequential or otherwise – injury, claim or liability of any kind or character whatsoever – including (but not limited to) those resulting from viruses- based upon or resulting from the use of this website.
